Due to the Level’s nature, the colonies are forced to see eye to eye, as having any dispute is not advised, especially when their bases are located in a straight path that which the level is.Īn entrance has been found, although it is very difficult to find. Those are limited to a few expeditions that camped out during the night they were in the thin hallways. There are very few known colonies in Level 1.272. In rare cases, the tape would accidentally play a recording, and a few words can be made out from it, a message regarding an unknown’s life before getting into the Backrooms. The cat does not like any unruly guests upon the level, and is sometimes seen carrying a tape of unknown content, with a scotch tape with someone’s name on it. When coming across this cat, reports say that it can speak English, and are fluent in the French language. There is also rumored to be a cat that travels this level frequently, and is unknown if it is hostile or not. Note: It is yet to be confirmed, but the ‘Gas Tanks’ might be of sentience, as there are reports that it ‘glitches’ or at least seemingly, when viewed from a distance. As of now, there is not much info on the entities. This room is also inconsistently lit, which makes it so that the gas tanks are more likely to spawn in the darker areas.Įntities are a rare occurrence, and unlike Level 1, may or may not lurk when the lights are off. Level 1.272 is very difficult to get to there is a likely theory that this level is a fragment of Level 2, meaning it has no proper start or end. There also seems to be some kind of fire detector, and it is not advised to use any kind of flammable materials while in this level. You have to walk the seemingly endless path of the thin white-walled room with marble-like onyx in order to move past this level. When entering the level, you find yourself with a dead end, the wall shown in the image above. The level is very crowded and it seemingly goes on forever in a single direction, making it difficult to escape from entities. The purpose of the ‘gas tanks’ is unknown, however if one wishes to take them, it might be useful. The reflective floor tiling of this area is made from onyx which can be scrapped from the floor in order to use somehow. Level 1.272 is a dark and isolated space of seemingly no end, and it appears to be part of Level 1 and Level 2.
